Editor Succession Policy

Cadernos de Campo aims to ensure the continuity of its editorial work, taking into account the different types of editorial roles. In the case of the Editor-in-Chief, considering the journal’s indexing in major national and international databases, a successor Editor-in-Chief shall be elected every ten years from among the members of the Editorial and Scientific Board.

This successor will work alongside the current Editor-in-Chief for at least one year to ensure a smooth transition, after which they will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief. The outgoing Editor-in-Chief may, if they wish, remain as an Editorial and Scientific Consultant.
