Abstract

This article discusses the learning relationship between teacher and disciple represented in the book Uma aprendizagem ou O livro dos prazeres, by Clarice Lispector, putting in question the identification process which underlies this relationship. The text also discusses the reissue of gender roles, the result of an idealization process that exalts the object of desire, assigning to it value of perfection.
