Abstract

Guillaume Apollinaire participates actively in the research undertaken by the avant-garde artists in Paris. His collection of poems “Alcools” (1913) testifies to the evolution of modern techniques. Modern poetry breaks language, fragments the text to mold it and presents it through a new artistic reality. In modernity, poetry dialogues with painting through a work of fragmentation and juxtaposition, elaborating a search for an aesthetic renewal.
