Revising concepts: polivalency, politecny and cooperation in the debate about work organization

Abstract

The text proposes a reflection upon the polyvalence, politecny and cooperation concepts, into work organization models developed over XX century. From the tayloristfordist model to flexible ones, we could observe the passage form monotecny to polivalence, but still remaining limitations in workers participation on work process management. In turn, the politecny considers the fusion between conception and execution of the activities, where the the cooperation can be an emancipator element.
