Therapy community integrative: awareness course in a prison women

Abstract

This article discusses the use of Integrative Community Therapy - TCI in a women’s prison in the city of São Paulo. The TCI Circles of chatting happened December / 2012 to November / 2013. They will discuss general aspects of crime, historical features of women’s prisons and the current situation in São Paulo. 32 TCI were performed totaling 279 people, adults were 258, 14 and 04 children adolescents. Of these 278 were women and only one man. Participated arrested, some pregnant women, employees and trainees of Psychology and Social Work. The number of participants in the Circles was variable and most happened to women prisoners. This article discusses only the experiences with the prey. The procedures adopted followed the established during the training; 31 Circles of chatting of participants chose the topic, one of them followed the Thematic Circle model. It is true that this experience could be a favorable difference in relation to women prisoners.
