In the present work, we aim to develop a quantitative analysis of the nouns, verbs and adjectives most used in 4 thousand 523 tweets posted by President Jair Bolsonaro in his profile on the social network Twitter between March 31, 2010, when he creates his profile, and March 7, 2019. As a focus, we will evaluate the frequency of use of these lexicons in order to, from these data, make a linguistic-discursive analysis of the lexical chain of these discursive formations, according to Pêcheux (2009). To do so, we organized the text as follows: in the first section, we defined the concept of New Right or Brazilian extreme right nowadays; in the second one, through statistical research, we will try to define the main characteristics of Brazilian society that may be associated with this political field; and finally, in the third one, we presented our theoretical-methodological assumptions of data collection and carry out the analyzes.
