Abstract

This paper aims to show the results of a bibliometric study that examines, quantitatively and qualitatively (Vanti, 2002; Araújo; Alvarenga, 2011; Ren; Huang, 2021), scientific articles on the topic of translation training published in Brazilian journals of Translation Studies, as well as those dedicated to the fields of Letters and Linguistics [Letras e Linguística], in their special issues on translation. In addition to measuring numerical data on the volume of articles published over the last 41 years, their authors and co-authorship networks, and the institutions to which they are affiliated with, this article also examines the keywords adopted by the authors, seeking to relate them to possible research trends in the subfield of translation training.
