Abstract

The objective of this paper is to understand the meaning of Western World historical development, in The German Ideology of K. Marx and F. Engels, to clarify what you can about the thinking of the authors and contemporary society. The intention is to analyze the interpretation contained in the book about the Western History (mainly European), since the earliest social organizations (primitive societies, Antiquity and the Middle Ages) until the industrial capitalist society. Highlighting the importance of the relationship between the productive forces and the relations of production.
