Abstract

This paper has as its basic purpose to discuss some elements that help us talk about the historical process of conformation of the notions of time, work and working time in modern societies. The argument that we maintain respect the need of capitalism in seeking to give a new way of life to the working class from, a great extent, the different mechanisms of transformation of the habits of workers. There were several ways that, combined together, resulted in new forms of life that eventually cool and even lead to oblivion the preterit production relations and forms of sociability.
