The crowd as ruin in Walter Benjamin’s perspective for Charles Baudelaire’s poetry

Abstract

This article has as its main objective to reflect on the walter benjamin’s critical point of view on the charles baudelaire’s poetry, especially with regard to a search which we will undertake to recognize the words of the german thinker, written in his article “on some motifs in baudelaire”, a perception of the multitude as a ruin, although benjamin did not bring the ruin image to his reflection explicitly in this text.
