Abstract

This article questions the inter-artistic proposal of Germán Marín in Lazos de familia. Stories with images, testamentary and a memorial project, made up of a series of archives collected and assembled episodically. In the volume, we analyze three main lines: time, territory, and the self, through which the author exposes a double imprint, visual and scriptural, that requires the same sign status in images and texts. This iconotextual character grants the possibility of entering other levels of meaning, especially when the curatorship of both artistic manifestations responds to the conjuration of the past in a memorial intersection: individual and collective, resistance to forgetting.
