Abstract

Approach to texts written by Jacques Derrida, such as Passions and Che cos’è la Poesia, with the aim of relating the secret issue to that of literature, which is an “exhibited secret” (secret affiché), in the perspective of democracy, which is always something to come. The question of political sovereignty - in relation to the figure of the foreigner - is, obliquely, developed. Finally, through the poem “Le cygne”, by Baudelaire, it is intended to think the issue of exile “at home”, in the place of origin itself.
