Abstract

Recently, some branches of literary criticism have been showing interest in the hard sciences. However, this attitude has encountered a lot of resistance by some other branches of literary criticism. In this article, through a discussion of the history of the twentieth-century science, we aim at removing some of the obstacles that seem to separate these two areas.
