Contaminations and galaxies : a dialogue between the poet and the film-maker

Abstract

This article is a modified and extended version of two communications presented at scientific meetings (SOCINE and ABRALIC). The article studies the exchange by two artists and the transformations appeared in the semiotic translation of the poem Galáxias, by Haroldo de Campos to the videos, Galáxia Albina and Infernalário: Logodédalo – Galáxia Dark, by Júlio Bressane. It verifies procedures and the critical process in the pieces, observing similarities and differences that lead to a change in the understanding of the critical reflexive process in art, from a metalinguistic to an arcquivistic character.
