Abstract

The present paper makes an analysis of how the economic agent was ideologically built in 18th and 19th century. It was based on the idea of an autonomous, rational and utilitarian individual concerning with the rise of the European bourgeoisie. Furthermore, it considers bourgeois and industrial revolution. However, in the great and peripheral Russia of this period, this kind of individual could not be developed in the major part of the ideas of the greatest Russian authors. It can be easily confirmed by reading the work of the great Russian writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky.
