Abstract

One of the most important contemporary thinkers, Gilles Deleuze (1925-1995) created his philosophy in close connection with literature. In Deleuze, language and thought are in reciprocal presupposition, so the conceptual creation is inseparable from the style creation in writing, as he claimed. This article presents Deleuze’s language conception through the analysis of his own style. Our goal is to reveal the non-metaphorical, and therefore non-representational, way of understanding poetic writing as such, seeing the relevance of Deleuze’s philosophy with certain modern and contemporary poetic trends.
