Something urgently or the crossing of the radical emptiness

Abstract

Discussion on the matter of how the individual may accomplish the crossing of self displacement in modern times by means of a psychoanalitic approach presented in a comparative study of the personages in Noll´s short-story - "Alguma coisa urgentemente"-, in O Cego e a Bailarina (NOLL, 1997) with Alejandro González-Iñárritu´s film 21 Grams, wich was launched in the USA in 2003. The confrontation with the tragic condition of emptiness in contemporary experience. Debate on the issue wich inaugurates life: the concept of death. The dialetic between pleasure and delight, the placement of desire in this field. Literature as a pribileged space for confrontation with emptiness, and psychoanalysis as one of the privileged tools for granting the interpretation of this matter
