Abstract

This article deals eith some aspects of Hilda Hilst´s poetics, that, together with the symbolic resource fo the spiral (inspired by Osman Lins´ Avalovara), serve as metaphor of a Latin American poetics. My main references were Hilda Hilst´s works: the fiction A obscena Senhora D (1982) and the poetry book Do desejo (1992), with whom I tried to stroll among the discursive nunaces of Latin American literature and culture - its colonization and the process of modernization/modernism.
