Abstract

The recent integration of the so called Bergamín manuscript into the
textual philology of Poeta en Nueva York has closed a long debate and allows a new
reading of the contemporary talk Nueva York en un poeta, which follows the rethorical disposition of the text, hence its relationship whith drama, emphasizes the intertextual aspects, hence the relationship between narrative and poems, and accounts for the reception of the performance, hence the relationship with different audiences.
