Lyric address

The text prioritizes the recipient, essential in the lyrical economy. Starting from Kate Hamburger’s approaches between lyricism and autobiography, Sermet offers a rereading of Apollinaire based on the questions of lyrical address to explore a point where lyricism and autobiography dissociate themselves irreparably: his experience of time and memory. The lyric utterance makes it possible to exchange all the discursive roles: the one who speaks and the one with whom we speak are never exactly those we identify initially, because they are, above all, figures of the movement that pushes them towards each other.Downloads
