Abstract

The following article starts from the premise that it is possible to provide an interpretation of Emile Zola’s book, “La Curée,” in which the homosexuality of the protagonists can be inferred both from the narrative and their actions. Despite the reading protocol presented by the author and some indications throughout the narrative, we believe this is possible not only due to the clues we will analyze below but also due to the intertextual relationships that can be established with the work.
