Abstract

La mort du Loup is a poem written by Alfred de Vigny, dated 1843, which presents a primary narrative for the construction of an allegory about the behavior of man through the image of wolves, which are targets of a hunt. Thus, it is possible to perceive, both by the language used and by the development of the symbology of silence within the three parts of the poem, that the poetic narrative is present, glimpsing the awareness of man. In addition, for this purpose, there is the creation of a space conducive to the event of the story, making the place not only the background, but a participant in the narrative, which is placed according to the events.
