The contemporary French author Alice Ferney has been getting more space in the French literary scene with works that display a growing mature style. In spite of her works having been translated to many other languages, Ferney is highly unknown in Brazil. This article aims at introducing the writer to the Brazilian public by commenting one of her successes in selling and criticism Dans la Guerre, released in France in 2003.
