Abstract

In this work, the author attempts to reveal in Jacques Prévert’s poetic work how this poet concepts an idea of an open book that’s always in a state of recreation. We must add that the Prévert’s book project serves as a vehicle for the most diverse artistic manifestations. Unlike the romantic conception of the book, the book in Prévert’s poetry isn’t an individual project. Otherwise, Prévert concepts his works under a collective perspective. Instead the bibliophily Prévert prefers bibliofolie (bibliofolly). In the bibliofolie, the personnages of the books read by Prévert visit prevertian work as well as they pass through it. Between the works that are present in the biblipholly there are permutation, movement and transit. The bibliofolie set the books free from the limits imposed by the objetal and graphic form of their binding. In this way, the books aren’t a simple numerical continuation of the library: they are a recreation of literary world. Keywords: Jacques Prévert. Bibliofolie (bibliofolly). Recreation. Books. Lecture. Writing.
