Superimposed observations on Remarques sur la couleur

Abstract

This text is an exercise of relatively free reading on the récits en rêve in Remarques sur la couleur by Yves Bonnefoy – translated in this volume of Lettres Françaises under the title of Notas sobre a cor. For most of the time, they are some observations which follow the rhythm of the reverie undertaken by the poet to his notes. Observations that, for that very reason, wander the most pressing motifs of the Bonnefoy’s poetry in order to unveil them in their presence and their immanence – an effort, therefore, of description that might bring to the scene colors, things and human beings.
