Abstract

The Brazilian sociologist Alberto Guerreiro Ramos elaborated, in the end of the 1950's, a methodological construction directed to a critical reception of 'imported ideas' that pointed to the creation of a national sociology, a singular and confluent project to the development of a national capitalism in Brazil.
