Abstract
Concerning the controversy over the law of the falling rate of profit tendency enoun-ced by Karl Marx, this article intends to discuss the two principal currents that become opposed in the interpretation of the aforesaid law. The one, that advocates the reformulation and bringing up to date Marxist laws of accumulation, and the other, that advocates the opportunity of the laws. Besides that, it also intends to indicate some polemicai points in the interpretation of the law of tendency related to the capitalism crisis.
