Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to discuss the approaches established in the 1988 Constitution that could eventually block agrarian reform. Thus, it tries to define accurately the meaning of agrarian reform today, having in mind all the transformations that Brazilian agriculture has undergone in the last two decades.
