"A canção do homem enquanto seu lobo não vêm": cultural agitation and the option on Brazilian revolution, 1964-69

Abstract

This paper analyses the cultural movement in Brazil in the sixties. It shows how the contradictions of the society have created this movement and, on the other hand, how the cultural agitation has contributed to produce left wing criticism, inspiring many people to fight against the Brazilian military dictatorship, including those who joined groups of guerrilla war.
