Amazônia: processes of valorization and symbolic registers

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This paper tries to understand the different waip of treating Amazônia. By notion of "process of valorizations", it introduces a discussion about the relation between the "significate" and the "imaginary" and between the "imaginary" and the "symbolic". It ends up with the need to interpret the images related to Amazonia against the background of a symbolic universe.
