Self-management made in East Europe: Yugoslavia and Bulgaria

Abstract

This paper aims at developing a comparative study of the organizational aspects of the chief expenences in self-management made in East Europe, in particular in Yugoslavia and Bulgaria, during the rule of political regimes normally called real socialism. The paper also seeks to illustrate a number of aspects of the debate over self-management in leftist circles of late decades.
