A study about commercial axis of Araraquara city - SP

Abstract

The present study had the objective to identify and map the commercial axis of Araraquara city - SP, by the raising of the soil using, performed by the students of the Socials Science Course - FCL - UNESP - CAr during 1994 and 1995. The project resulted in the elaboration of soil usingmaps, of 13 commercial axis of the city (main avenues and interior of wards) identifying the kind of existent usage lot by lot, like the activity and condition of the buildings conservation. The analysis of the results let to characterize the principal axis, point out their specialization and the part played by them in the city context.
