Individuality and citizenship in a divided world

Abstract

This text analyzes the sociology of Durkheim, who above all thinks that society dominates the individual, and who sees the "social facts" as "things" that have been imposed on the individuals objectively from the outside. This kind of sociology searched the unity of the world but recognized that this world was inevitably divided.
