The UN in the threshold of the new century

Abstract

This article intends to analyze the role of the international organizations in a background which prevail the political of power. The case discussed here is the United Nations and all the difficulties this institution has going through in attempting the hard decisions in many countries in a context the unilateral forces are coercive, mainly the powerful states.
