The Brazilian romantic’s nature: an environmental sociology approach

Abstract

It is proposed in this article a brief incursion in the history of what was thought about nature and society in the Brazilian social thought from the point of view of the Brazilian environmental sociology. As a first step in this long journey, it is broached the nature’s idea as it is built in the Brazilian romantic literature in the XIX century.
