Abstract

The present reflection begins with the diagnosis that the social sciences today are in an epistemological crisis; the promises that had legitimized the scientific knowledge not had carried through at least in the center of the system. From this diagnosis the question emerges: it is possible to construct forms of knowledge compromised with the human condition and to make it from the periphery? We believe that it is possible to make this, on the one hand reestablishing the connection between theoretical elaboration and social practice, as central element of praxis of the knowledge, and on the other hand questioning the foundation of hegemonic science and considering new perspectives for its overcoming. Thus, the proposal intends to develop a series of questions of what it could be called a critical theory of the knowledge, situated since the politic-ideological point of view and the geopolitical point of view.
