Economic sociology and history on Bourdieu thinking

Abstract

This paper is the result of developed researchesaround Bourdieu’s thought, and its goal is to establish the existentrelations, in the thoughts of the mentioned author, betweeneconomic sociology and history. In practice, Bourdieu’s is interestedin the genesis of categories, such as institution and market. Thehistory is in the center of the constitution of the economic agent andits “habitus”. The economic history clearly shows the interactionbetween State and markets. Ins his economic sociology, Bourdieuhighlights the contradictions of the emerging markets and thusgets closer to the regulation theory.
