Abstract

This work intends to analyses the present dynamic and crises of capitalism from a point of view of Latin America. It establishes three historical phases: the first one starts after 1945, from a period called the building of Latin America industrialization. The second one deals with the authoritarian and bureaucratic regimes, also known as conservative modernization. Finally, the present phase of hegemony of finance capital, or globalization. The text wants to know if those development theories are still valid or if another paradigm of explanation is needed.
