Abstract

This paper aims to understand the newspaper as a complex enunciative instance (MAINGUENEAU, 2008), based on the analysis of several enunciative agents, who take part in the newspaper’s pages utterances construction, the news genre construction and the scenography produced on the newspaper. Those agents efface their own enunciative marks in order to enable a singular enunciator (the newspaper), putting aside its collective constitution and, this way, presenting its own ethos, coming to be a superenunciator. It also proposes the existence of enunciative marks that refer to this superenunciator, here designates as superenunciatives marks. In order to accomplish this proposal, it was analyzed Folha de S.Paulo newspaper and its editorial guidelines.
