From Blanka to Bart Simpson: Images of Brazil in times of globalization

It is intended, in this article, to discuss images of Brazil presented in the game Street Fighter II and in the series Simpsons, respectively, through the characters analysis Blanka and Bart Simpson. With such a proposal, we still looked for to demystify the use of videogames and cartoons as a History source and to discuss problems of the globalization that interferes in the duel among the representations of nation versus the globalized world.Downloads
