This paper examines different ways of introducing the body within newspaper sex ads. From analyzing such texts, the study demonstrates that these body simulacrums are meaningful effects mostly generated by shifting out and shifting in enunciative operations, both subcategorized as enuncive and enunciative, as well as by their figurative arrangements, seen as functive for enunciative observation positions. In order to persuade the reader, the enunciative game introduces him\her the “consummation object body” under different perspectives: either subjective or objective, and at times both simultaneously.Downloads
