This article discusses the relationship between poetry and music, and the possibilities raised by the synchronic view of literary art that emerges from Augusto de Campos’s creative practice. Taking the reading of the poem “Coisa” – published in the anthology Despoesia (1994) – as a starting point, we try to follow the clues in its mosaic of references to build some interpretative hypotheses about the poetics that rule the poet’s choices of his literary interlocutors, which are spread over time, from distant past to the present days.Downloads
