Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate some mechanisms of the Interarts exercise, in several inflexions, which are necessarily guides of the poetic creation, that is, when a work of art engenders another work of art. The corpus of analysis consists of poems of Brazilian contemporary literature which maintains a relation with the visual arts, whether by means of an artist's name mere quotation or the reference of a specific work of art, as well as the works of Brazilian contemporary artists who appropriate poems as a necessary elements for its configuration.
