The interpretant concept refers to the third element of the peircean triad of the sign concept. The other two elements are the representamem and the object. A sign is, according to Peirce, any thing that represents some other thing for anyone. But a thing only is capable to represent some other thing for anyone if, when it is perceived by this anyone, a third thing appears in his mind, as an effect produced by it. It is of this third thing that will be spoken in this work, without ignoring the other ones two. Keywords: Sign. Interpretant. Representamem. Object. Interpretation.Downloads
