This paper presents the analysis of O Rappa’s song “Minha Alma”, based on the semiotic method of analysis proposed by Luiz Tatit. By analysing three different versions of the song (from O Rappa, MariaRita and Leila Pinheiro) we can understand how the performance of singers, musicians and arrangers participate in the meaning construction of the song. Keywords: Semiotics. Song. Arrangement. Meaning.Downloads
