Abstract

This article deals with the resemblance between the theoretical works of Umberto Eco in semiotics and his novel Baudolino. We intend to demonstrate here how Eco renders problematic some conceptions as “truth” and “lie” within his theory of semiotics and how he converts them in allegories in the novel.
