Abstract

Abstract: This piece examines the tensive narrative and discoursive structures of "Hino de Duran", a song composed by Chico Buarque de Holanda. The expression plane created by the tune is looked at, with an analysis of the extent which this plane interferes with contents choice. Keywords: Semiotics. Popular song. Brazilian Pop Music.
