Abstract

In this paper, we show how the Vladimir Propp’s marvelous tale’s theory and Roman Jakobson’s metalanguage concept, designed from the literary domain, collaborate to the critical analysis and to the construction of the Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film, Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain (2001). This paper tries to highlight the different dialogs that the cinematographic work maintains with the literature through its narrative structure and poetic resources.

Ana Paula Dias Rodrigues, UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (IBILCE)

Possui graduação e mestrado em Letras, área de concentração em Teoria Literária, pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003 e 2010). Atuou como Coordenadora pedagógica e Professora de Educação Básica II da Secretaria de Estado da Educação de São Paulo até março de 2008. Atualmente é aluna de doutorado no curso de Pós-Graduação em Letras da mesma universidade e bolsista CAPES.
