This work consists of an interview with Eric Landowski, French sociosemiotician, produced in Paris in February 2014. On this interview, more than to clarify specifics of his theoretical approach, it discusses topics of wider concern to semioticians and researchers who are interested in meaning issues: aesthesia, the sensory experience, the passions, the pleasure. Elicited by a questioning, he argues about still imposes a challenge to semioticians. Again, the researcher points out that the semiotic domains go beyond the text itself, being presented as a general theory of meaning.
