Describing the dynamics of the semiotic research circle created by A. J. Greimas in the late sixties, analysing its development up to now, capturing the image that the so-called Paris School of Semiotics has conveyed of itself on the intellectual scene, and thereby trying to understand not only the nature of its influence but also the factors which have contributed to limit its diffusion: such are the objectives of this article, which aims at sketching a sociosemiotic survey of Greimasian experience.Downloads
